Jenny & Lewis' Wedding at Hungarian Hall Estate

Some wedding days prove that it isn't the weather that makes a celebration memorable – it's the people. Jenny & Lewis' beautiful wedding at Hungarian Hall Estate on 6th June 2026 was the perfect example.
While the British weather meant an outdoor ceremony wasn't possible, the couple exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends in our light-filled Danube Suite. The room was beautifully dressed with rich emerald green draping and soft florals, creating a warm and elegant setting for their heartfelt ceremony.
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was full of excitement and laughter. Jenny & Lewis had planned a day that truly reflected their personalities, with a fun-filled scavenger hunt keeping guests entertained throughout the afternoon, followed by crazy golf on the lawns. It was wonderful to see everyone embracing the activities, creating so many smiles and memorable moments together.
One of the many advantages of celebrating your wedding at Hungarian Hall Estate is having exclusive use of the grounds throughout your stay. Although the rain interrupted the original plans, the weather eventually gave the couple a welcome break, allowing them to explore the estate with photographer Hayley Denston Photography. The result was a stunning collection of portraits beneath our magnificent ancient oak tree, along with a breathtaking sunset silhouette that perfectly captured the romance of the day. These images are a wonderful reminder that sometimes the unexpected creates the most magical photographs.
Jenny & Lewis also made the most of the wedding weekend by staying in The Apple Barn, our luxury on-site accommodation. Having family and friends together before and after the wedding creates such a relaxed atmosphere, allowing couples to enjoy every moment without rushing away once the celebrations end.
Guests were treated to another exceptional wedding breakfast and evening catering from our resident caterers, Jamie Lee Smith Catering, who, as always, delivered fantastic food and service throughout the day.
It was a real pleasure to host Jenny & Lewis and their wonderful family and friends. Their day was filled with love, laughter and the reminder that, whatever the weather, the most important part of any wedding is celebrating the beginning of a new chapter together.
