Lauren & Martin’s Spring Wedding at Hungarian Hall Estate

On 30th May 2026, Lauren and Martin celebrated their wedding with us at Hungarian Hall Estate, surrounded by family and friends on a beautiful late-spring day in the Suffolk countryside.

A Danube Suite Ceremony

Lauren and Martin chose our Danube Suite for their ceremony. The room was beautifully styled by The Suffolk Wedding Dresser, with elegant draping, a statement circular backdrop and gorgeous floral details in shades of white, green and purple.

The soft colours worked beautifully with the light and neutral Danube Suite, creating a romantic setting for the couple to say their vows.

Following the ceremony, guests were able to enjoy the grounds while Lauren and Martin took some time for photographs amongst the gardens and mature trees around the estate.

Drinks, Canapés & a Delicious Wedding Breakfast

Our resident caterers, Jamie Lee Smith Catering, looked after everyone throughout the day, beginning with canapés during the drinks reception.

For their wedding breakfast, guests could choose between stuffed garlic and rosemary chicken or braised pork belly for their main course.

Dessert sounded particularly tempting, with a choice of white chocolate and honeycomb cheesecake or a rich chocolate fondant.

And, of course, there was wedding cake too! Lauren and Martin chose a beautiful three-tier design decorated with purple ribbon, delicate flowers and foliage – perfectly complementing the colours used throughout their day.

The Perfect Wedding Team

Lauren looked absolutely beautiful, with Sophie Grogan taking care of her hair and Victoria Bradfield creating her bridal make-up.

The gorgeous wedding flowers were created by Catherine at Floral Creations, continuing the pretty purple, white and green colour palette seen throughout the ceremony and celebrations.

The day was captured by Dibbs from Bushfire Photography, including some wonderful photographs of Lauren and Martin enjoying the gardens at Hungarian Hall Estate.

As the evening celebrations began, our resident Flame Entertainment provided the DJ and giant illuminated letters, getting everyone ready for a night on the dance floor.

Staying at The Apple Barn

One of the lovely things about getting married at Hungarian Hall Estate is being able to stay right here at the venue. Lauren and Martin made the most of this and stayed on site in our Bramley Suite at The Apple Barn.

With plenty of space to relax before and after the wedding, staying on site means there is no need to worry about travelling home at the end of the celebrations – you can simply enjoy every moment of your wedding weekend.

It was an absolute pleasure to host Lauren and Martin’s wedding and see all their plans come together. From their elegant Danube Suite ceremony and beautiful spring flowers to fabulous food and an evening of dancing, it was a wonderful day.
