Carmen & Levi’s Beautiful Lavender Summer Wedding

On 18th July 2026, Carmen and Levi celebrated their wedding with us at Hungarian Hall Estate, surrounded by family and friends for a beautiful summer celebration filled with soft lavender details and plenty of personal touches.

From getting ready at The Apple Barn and an outdoor ceremony at our Summerhouse to a marquee they decorated themselves and an evening on the dance floor, it was a wonderfully personal wedding from beginning to end.

Getting Ready at The Apple Barn

Carmen and Levi's wedding experience began at The Apple Barn, our on-site accommodation, where they stayed in the spacious Bramley Suite.

Having accommodation right here on the estate meant there was no travelling to worry about on the morning of the wedding. Carmen could get ready just a short distance from the ceremony and enjoy those exciting final preparations before heading across to meet Levi.

It's one of the things we love about weddings with a stay at The Apple Barn – the celebrations can begin before the wedding day itself rather than everything having to fit into just a few hours.

An Outdoor Ceremony at The Summerhouse

Carmen and Levi chose our Summerhouse for their ceremony, with the gardens providing a beautiful natural backdrop as they exchanged their vows.

Their soft lavender colour scheme looked lovely against the greenery, with bridesmaids in different shades of purple and lavender and coordinating flowers adding colour to the ceremony.

Following their vows, there was plenty of time for photographs around the grounds, including some gorgeous shots beneath the willow tree.

A Marquee Filled With Personal Touches

Carmen and Levi chose to decorate the marquee themselves, transforming the space with their lavender and white colour palette.

Purple draping ran around the marquee, with coordinating details on the chairs, balloons and tables. Against the ivory marquee lining, chandeliers and fairy lights, the colour really stood out while still keeping the overall look light and romantic.

Their personalised décor continued throughout the reception, including a lovely welcome area, cards and gifts table and personalised mirror.

We always enjoy seeing how differently our couples style the marquee. Starting with a neutral space gives everyone the freedom to create something that really reflects their own tastes, and Carmen and Levi certainly made the space their own.

Wedding Breakfast & Cake

Our resident caterers Jamie Lee Smith Catering (JLS) took care of the wedding food, allowing Carmen, Levi and their guests to relax and enjoy the celebrations.

Their wedding cake was created by Tonya Edwards, providing another centrepiece for the day before everyone moved on to the evening celebrations.

Time to Hit the Dance Floor

As day turned into evening, Flame Entertainment took over with the evening DJ.

Carmen and Levi shared their first dance beneath the lights before the dance floor opened for their guests – the perfect way to begin the evening party.

With the marquee changing atmosphere after dark, the fairy lights, chandeliers, starlit backdrop and dance-floor lighting created a completely different feel from the bright summer wedding breakfast earlier in the day.

Capturing the Memories

The day was photographed by Claire Green and Clare Bryant, capturing everything from Carmen and Levi's outdoor ceremony and photographs around the grounds to those special moments on the dance floor.

The photographs are a lovely reminder of just how much variety there can be within one wedding day at Hungarian Hall Estate – from the gardens and willow tree to the Summerhouse, marquee and evening party.
